The EnneagramAlexandra Vance’s practice as a Marriage and Family therapist and a Certified Enneagram Teacher and Enneagram Coach with a sub-specialty in addictive and compulsive disorders focuses on assisting adults, children and couples to design lives that are meaningful, balanced and creative. The Enneagram, powerful and compassionate, illuminates a positive pathway that if followed helps a person stay connected to their loving hearts, while quieting their minds and acting within their value systems on behalf of themselves and others. It is a bridge to the life one truly desires and restores hope for loving relationships. Combined with systems therapies, it is a potent tool for transformation, especially when dealing with compulsive patterns that inhibit one’s freedom to choose a rewarding life. The Enneagram facilitates positive change, where one “wakes up” and “relaxes” into the realization of a precious new life. The Enneagram is a dynamic system of personality typing based on nine basic personality types. When one finds his/her type the adventure is on. Often, it is the first time that a person has ever felt understood or accepted. When one accepts that God designed the personality types and they are ours by Divine order then this becomes a way of life. Discovering one’s inherent gifts is a treasure. The Levels of Development describe what happens to personality types when they are under stress. What a person does when identified with his/her ego in hopes of getting what he wants is very easily identifiable. Spiritual development is possible if one does not identify with one’s ego. The possibilities for our lives are so great when we give up on our ego motivations, manipulations and fears. Fear is what triggers the ego to act in a predictable pattern that was formed when one was young and is a part of our personality type. Fear is what drives one away from the spiritual truth of who we are. From a spiritual point of view our types describe a way our egos have tried to make up for a loss of connection with the Divine. Understanding our types is key to change and freedom. Services:As an RH Certified Enneagram Teacher, Alexandra Vance presents workshops and teaches The Enneagram concepts. But even more than that she helps you use the Enneagram in real life situations, coaching you to make it come alive. Freedom can be found using the fabulous and dynamic Enneagram, a tool which effectively helps one manage situations in business, relationships and personal life.
